Sea-riously in Love

Let me tell you a little secret…

Yes, Bloomsbury House sleeps 8 + 1.
Yes, it’s wonderful for families, celebrations, and big happy gatherings.

But when it’s just the two of you?
It becomes something rather special.

A little love nest by the sea.

And honestly, I adore that about it.

Big House, Soft Heart

Bloomsbury House has been decorated to feel warm, gentle, and welcoming. It’s elegant without being stuffy, stylish without being cold, and cosy without feeling cramped.

Soft lighting.
Comfortable sofas.
Beautiful bedrooms with super-comfy beds.
Little thoughtful touches everywhere.

So even though there’s space, it never feels empty. It feels like it’s giving you room to breathe, relax, and simply enjoy being together.

No rushing.

No schedules.
Just you two.

Dinner for Two, Candlelight Included

One of my favourite things about a romantic weekend here is staying in.

Pop to the shops, pick up something lovely, open a bottle of wine, and set the table.

Switch on the battery-powered candles and suddenly you’re in your own private restaurant.

No background noise.
No queues.
No awkward tables nearby.

Just laughter, good food, and that wonderful feeling of being completely at home together.

Afterwards, curl up on the sofa with a romantic film, blankets, and maybe fall asleep halfway through. Perfect.

Or Step Out for Something Special

If you fancy heading out, you’re spoilt for choice, all just a minute’s walk away.

No.10 is perfect for intimate, candlelit dining.
Marmalades is warm, friendly, and delicious.
The Bank is brilliant for sharing fragrant curries and laughing over who gets the last naan.

All close enough for an easy stroll home, hand in hand.

Romance… With a Pint

Sometimes romance doesn’t mean violins and roses. Sometimes it means a cosy pub, good food, and a quiet corner.

Sheringham has some lovely ones with fireplaces, friendly faces, and that comforting feeling of being tucked away from the world.

Sometimes that’s all the romance you need.

Little Adventures for Two

Hop on the train to Cromer or Holt for a change of scene.

In Cromer, enjoy a film at the cinema.
Back in Sheringham, catch a show at the Little Theatre.

Dinner, cinema, seaside stroll, then home to Bloomsbury House.

A proper old-fashioned date night, and I mean that in the best way.

Slow Mornings & Shared Moments

Romantic weekends aren’t just about evenings.

They’re about:

Coffee in bed.
Chats in pyjamas.
Walks along the promenade.
Sharing cake “just because”.
Afternoon naps.

Doing very little, together.

And doing it beautifully.

Perfect for Valentine’s… and Every Other Time

Valentine’s here is gorgeous, but you don’t need a special date in the diary.

A quiet winter escape.
A surprise spring weekend.
A cosy autumn break.

Love doesn’t check the calendar.

And Bloomsbury House is always ready.

Why a Romantic Weekend Works Here

Because you get:

✔ Super-comfy beds
✔ A cosy, elegant house
✔ Walk-everywhere convenience
✔ Sea air and starry strolls
✔ Peace, privacy, and warmth

And a home that genuinely wants you to relax.

Come and Fall in Love All Over Again

Whether you’re cooking by candlelight, sharing a curry, watching a film, strolling by the sea, or simply doing nothing at all…

A weekend for two at Bloomsbury House is about reconnecting.

Laughing.
Talking.
Resting.
Remembering.

So if you’re thinking about a Valentine’s treat, an anniversary surprise, or just some precious time together…

Come and let us look after you.

I promise, you’ll leave with full hearts and very happy memories.

With love,
Annie 💕
