If you'd like to make art a bigger part of your stay, I offer small, relaxed residential art holidays at Bloomsbury House.
Come for a few days with friends, spend time by the sea, explore North Norfolk and make art along the way. There is time to paint, draw, experiment and play, as well as plenty of time to walk, talk, eat, explore and simply enjoy being here.
The art takes place in my studio at Blanefield in Beeston Regis, just a short distance from Bloomsbury House. This is where I paint, teach and run my workshops.
You don't need to be an artist or have any previous experience, just come with an open mind and see what happens.
I keep the groups small and the atmosphere relaxed.
I don't teach you how to paint. I help you discover you can.

You don't have to book an art holiday to make some art while you're staying at Bloomsbury House.
If you're here for a few days and fancy trying something a little different, you can book one of my workshops for a morning or afternoon at Blanefield.
Everything is provided, so all you need to bring is yourself and a willingness to experiment.
Perhaps you'll discover that you love it. Perhaps you'll surprise yourself. Or perhaps you'll simply have a lovely few hours making something by the sea.

My workshops are small and friendly, with space for up to eight people, and are perfect for friends, families and small groups staying at Bloomsbury House.
Choose a morning or afternoon session and I'll provide everything you need, paints, papers, collage materials and all the other bits and pieces we might get up to.
Each workshop has its own starting point, but there is plenty of room to experiment and make it your own. You don't need any previous experience, and you certainly don't need to arrive knowing what you're going to make.
If you're coming for a special weekend, birthday or gathering, I can also create something especially for your group.
Each workshop is priced individually.
